Explore Qigong and Yoga as living practices to cultivate awareness, renew vitality, and create harmony in everyday life.
Creating healthy habits can feel overwhelming. With endless wellness options — the local gym, meditation apps, yoga studios, online programs, and more — it’s easy to feel stuck before you even begin.
But meaningful change doesn’t have to start with a complete lifestyle overhaul. Sometimes transformation begins with just 12 minutes a day.
I believe in small, sustainable practices that grow into lasting change over time. Rooted in the ancient practice of qigong and complemented by yoga, my classes combine breath, mindful movement, and intention to help you reconnect with yourself and cultivate steady, supportive habits.
Through simple guided sessions, you’ll build a regular practice that feels grounding, accessible, and sustainable — for both body and mind.

What is the difference between Everyday Practice and Morning & Evening Practice memberships?
The Everyday Practice membership includes access to pre-recorded 10-15 minute sessions of warm ups, yang flows, and yin flows.
The Morning & Evening Practice memberhsip includes everything listed above, plus the Wednesday morning and evening classes.
You can find more information here.
What if I can't attend live classes? Will there be replays?
Yes! All classes will be available for replay in the video library shortly after the scheduled class. You can find the video library here.
Do I need any special props for classes?
No props are needed for qigong.
Nourishing Life (evening practice) is practiced on the floor so it is recommended to have a mat and blanket available. Sometimes we will also use a block, yoga strap, or massage ball such as a tennis ball.
I have an online membership--is it necessary to register for live classes?
It is not necessary to register for the online classes if you're already a member. You can find the zoom links in the drop down menu links for members under "online memberships".
You also have the option to register for the class. This option will send you an email with the link to attend. Simply visit the schedule page and click register beside the class you want to attend.
Do you offer 60 minute classes?
Currently I offer 60 minute classes in person in Chattanooga and Soddy Daisy. You can sign up for those classes here. You can work up to an hour online by using the video library to assemble a longer session or repeating a practice on your own once you have learned it.
"Rachel offers a holistic yoga practice to her yogis both in person and zoom. Her research and devotion to yoga is clear with every class. She explains healing properties and physical benefits of poses. Rachel gently guides her yogis through a meditative and mindful practice, resulting in a feeling of release and regeneration. She is simply amazing. "

"Qi Gong is truly a gift for achieving rest and reset in your life. This energy focused practice using the breath and movements found in nature, rinses tension and stress out of the body. Rachel’s warm presence and clear concise instructions make the practice a true joy. "

"I have been doing yoga for 50 years. About five years ago I decided to try yin yoga. My teacher was Rachel Taylor. I, like many others thought that yin was “easy.” I quickly learned it was not, but it was very beneficial for the aging body. Rachel then began learning to teach qigong and ultimately integrated it with yin yoga. What Rachel has done for me through her teaching is a Godsend. What it has done for my body, mind, and spirit is simply beyond words. She is the best teacher anyone could ever have!"
